  英语阅读高分技巧:考研阅读9大题型解题思路(1)主旨、态度

  一、主旨题

  1.标志:best title main idea, main problem, conclusion, mainly discuss, mainly about等。

  2.解题思路:

  (1)注意首段和各段第一句话,将其含义连接成一个整体;

  (2)小心“首段陷阱”,不要只看第一段就选择答案;而是结合每个段落第一句来分析答案。

  (3)快速作文法解题,做题前可以自己思考一下“如果是我写这个题目,我会怎么写”。

  例题:英语二2017 text3第5题

  35. The most suitable title for this text would be_____.

  A. In Favor of the Gap Year B.The ABCs of the Gap Year

  C.The Gap Year Comes Back D.The Gap Year:A Dilemma

  第一段介绍了普遍现象,即:“毕业生完全忽视间隔年”,后文继续说“间隔年费时无用,让人落后”;如果只看这一段,很有可能误选D选项。实际上,根据刚刚说的解题思路,该主旨题需要从宏观把握文章观点,因此咱们继续看其他段落。

  第二段提出作者观点,即“不足以谴责间隔年”后面举例间隔年的好处;

  第三 、四段通过分析间隔年的作用论证这一观点。

  可见全文立意在于“呼吁毕业生重视间隔年的意义”。因此,这道题正确选项应该是[A]选项。

  原文:

  第一段:

  Today, widespread social pressure to immediately go to college in conjunction with increasingly high expectations in a fast-moving world often causes students to completely overlook the possibility of taking a gap year. After all, if everyone you know is going to college in the fall, it seems silly to stay back a year, doesn&39;t feel natural to spend a year doing something that isn't academic.

  第二段:

  But while this may be true , it’s not a good enough reason to condemn gap years.

  第三段:

  Studies from the United States and Australia show that students who take a gap year are generally better prepared for and perform better in college than those who do not.

  标志:题干中出现attitude, believe, consider, regard, deem.

  解题思路:

  (1)首先你要知道常见的态度词有哪些,这里学姐列举了真题中常见的一些态度词:

  Opposition反对、suspicion怀疑的、Approval支持、indifference冷漠、Optimistic乐观的、subjective主观的、objective客观的、pessimistic悲观的、biased有偏见的、impartial偏心的、sensitive敏感的。

  但是像冷漠、不关心、偏见这种一般是可以直接划掉的。原因很简单,上期老师也讲过了,如果作者对一件事情不关心的话,那干嘛要写这篇文章呢?对吧~

  (2)不要掺杂自己的主观想法;

  (3)可以寻找文中一些具有感情色彩的词;

  (4)可以抓论述的主线及举例的方式。

  例题:英语二2017 text1第5题

  25. The author’s attitude to what UK governments have done for sports is______.

  A.tolerant B.critical C.uncertain D.sympathetic

  该题问的是“作者对英国政府针对体育所做行为的态度是什么”。根据题干关键词,what UK governments have done for sports定位到第四段,本段前三句指出,英国政府参与规划基层体育运动的做法有些可笑。其正确做法应该是确保公共设施到位,而实际上政府却采取了完全相反的做法。最后两句向未来政府提出建议:为繁荣体育事业多干实事,至少不要让情况变得更糟。可见,作者对政府持明显的批判态度,因此[B]正确。

  【B】选项的critical刚好概括了文中 a little absurd, It should really be ..., But successive governments ...、 wordy, worthy strategies所传递的作者态度。
